Please help! does this virgo guy like me?

ok i met this lovely quiet virgo guy 4 months ago in my local club. we seemed to hit it off that night straight away. we have been texting each other since and have met up in the club a good few weekends and i have been back to his house twice after nights out. when im out with him he treats me like royalty and i never have to put a hand in my wallet. i get on well with his friends and he gets on well with mine. i find him a quiet person and doesnt open up too much or tell much about himself but he did say that he was in a relationship with a girl for 5 years and she broke up with him a year and a half ago. so he said he is only back to himself now. im begining to feel like were going nowhere though. we havent even gone on a proper date yet.he is so hot and cold with me i cant make him out. we dont see each other anymore because with the job he has he is so busy and it will be affecting his social life for a couple of months as he has made aware to me and also his friends inform me everytime im out. so were just gone to texting once or twice a week. im just unsure if i should hang around or not. i did ask one of his friends what was going on with him and i was told he is mad about me but is confused about starting another relationship yet so he is all messed up at the moment. i dont know what to think or if the information is true. all i know is i really like him and did so from the first time i met him. please help me figure out what i should do!
