What to wear with purple logo sweater?

i have a VERRRYY OLD purple dior pullover sweater that says dior on the front in rhinestone but i'm not sure what to wear it with, purple is so hard to make look good with anything but i like the sweater itself because its unique and vintage. i'm just not sure what to wear it with. i think it would look great with just plain dark denim shorts but its too cold for shorts just yet and i feel like if i wear it with long jeans it'll need something extra to go with it. what do you think?
